How does Brightday help me sit in a good posture?

What we do
We help you maintain the posture you have set. This way you gain awareness when you slip out of your intended position.

We also have tips based on general guidelines on how to sit or stand in good posture. You can find them in our video library here sit better / stand better / move more. These are general tips not individually catered to your situation.

What we don't do
When you set your posture and track how your are going in and out of your position, we don't use the data to give you any advice on how to sit or stand better. Every person is different

Brightday does not offer medical advise.

That said, if you have a special situation or injury please do refer to your physician or physical therapist for tailored advice to suit your specific needs.

Does Brightday start automatically each day?

Yes. It is preset in the Settings to auto-open at 8:30 AM local time. You can change this auto-start time by going to Settings. The Settings icon is in the main menu around 'SET POSTURE' at the bottom left ( at 7:30 o'clock).

After setting my posture when Brightday opens, should I be resetting my posture during the day?

Yes. It's important to make sure you're never sitting too rigidly in one posture.  It's good to get into the habit of resetting your posture multiple times during the day. You really cannot reset too many times. When you want to reset, just click on the Brightday icon in your tray/taskbar, place your cursor over the popup, and click.
